Artscape 2026: A Weekend of Connection, Crochet, Clay, and Community

Artscape 2026: A Weekend of Connection, Crochet, Clay, and Community

What an incredible, whirlwind weekend! I’m still buzzing from my first-ever Artscape experience, and I wanted to share a little recap of the journey with you all.

The Experience: From Slow Starts to Soaring Spirits
The weekend was a true journey of "intentional joy." Day 1 was a quiet introduction with a rainy start but people still came out, but Day 2? The crowds truly showed up, and the energy was electric!

It was a dream come true to watch my signature pieces—from the celadon collection to my latest crochet creations—find their new homes. We headed home with half of the crochet inventory sold, and I couldn't be more thrilled that these handmade pieces are out in the world.

More Than Just Sales
While the growth of Studio Art 101 is amazing, the real highlight was the people. I had the pleasure of talking with so many interesting individuals, learning about your projects, and sharing the process behind my work.

One of my favorite moments was completing our community art piece. It is such a beautiful keepsake that perfectly captures the spirit of the weekend, and I’m so grateful to everyone, young and old who contributed to it.

Gratitude & Inspiration
I’m walking away from Baltimore with a heart full of inspiration! This weekend wouldn't have been possible without my incredible village:
  • To my family: Thank you for being such troupers and enduring the long days with me. You are my rock.
  • To my friends: You were absolute lifesavers in the booth—thank you for jumping in to help manage the hustle.
  • To the supporters: Whether you bought a piece, shared a story, or just stopped by to chat, thank you for making my first Artscape unforgettable.
I am so incredibly inspired by the connections made this weekend and cannot wait to get back to the studio to channel this energy into new work. Stay tuned—there is so much more to come!
